Parking / 2008 Lotus Festival
- Downtown Bloomington has three parking garages and four parking lots scattered within easy distance from festival venues.
- Street parking is free, but depending on the parking zone, you may be limited to 2 hours in any one block (either side of the street). However, in some areas this rule applies only from 5am to 5pm. Please be sure to check signs in the area that you park to determine parking regulations.
- Covered parking is $.50/hour at the garages at 7th & Walnut, 7th & Morton, and 4th & Walnut. The parking lot at 4th & Dunn is $1/hour. Additional lots are $.50/hour.
- For Lotus in the Park (Saturday, Oct. 4), consider parking in the Convention Center overflow lot. It's free, and not very far from Third Street Park. The main entrance to the Convention Center lot is on College Ave., just south of 3rd Street; look for the Courtyard Marriott, and turn right at the parking lot entrance. Go straight back, past the Convention Center main lot, until you cross into the overflow lot.
