Accordionist Paul Brock and fiddler Manus McGuire hail from Ireland’s County Clare, and they’re two of Celtic music’s most celebrated musicians. With banjo and mandolin player Enda Scahill (from Galway) and pianist Dennis Carey (from Tipperary), they are the Brock McGuire Band. Their Irish repertoire is deep, but they also dip into American old-time and French Canadian traditions. Their most recent CD, “Green Grass Blue Grass,” is a collaboration with some great bluegrass musicians from this side of the Atlantic, including Ricky Scaggs.
