Bloomington’s own Hudsucker Posse is part of the hula hoop renaissance. Mixing ballet, jazz, hip-hop – and the hoop – the Posse is transforming a pastime into an art form. Founder Paula Chambers started the group after seeing a hooper on stage at a Lotus set. Look for members of the Hudsucker Posse at Lotus in the Park, too: they’ll help you get the hoop on your hips, and start spinning.
