The Lotus-Fitzgerald Endowment

Michael Fitzgerald is the founding contributor of the Lotus-Fitzgerald Endowment (est. 1996). The Fitzgerald family established the Fitzgerald Challenge Match, a major contributing factor to the cumulative growth of the endowment. The endowment has also benefited from participation in the Matchstick Initiative of the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County.

The Lotus-Fitzgerald Endowment is intended to perpetuate the work of the nonprofit Lotus Education and Arts Foundation for future generations.
 The Fitzgerald Challenge Match provides a dollar-for-dollar match for endowment contributions, through the year 2011.
