My name is Maia. I am from a small town in Georgia and I completed my undergrad at Earlham College, majoring in Studio art/ Art history. I am currently completing my dual master’s degree in art administration and public affairs. I am passionate about the arts and using it as a tool to empower people.
That is why I enjoy working at Lotus as they have created and have helped empower upcoming diverse artists by providing a platform for them to showcase their talents. I hope to continue to work in this field as I believe that Art will provide opportunities to better communities.

I am a second-year master’s student working on a MPA with a concentration in Environmental Policy and Natural Resource Management. I have a lot of passion environmentally, but I also enjoy reading and playing video games. I have three guinea pigs named Mr. Ruffles, Senor Gordo, and Sir Onyx!

I am from Evansville, Indiana and I have been involved with nonprofits since I was in middle school. I attended the Lotus World Festival when I was in high school and loved it, and I’m excited to work more with the organization.
