Lotus Blossoms 2020 Events are Canceled
Dear Lotus Family,
The staff and board at Lotus have been closely monitoring the rapidly unfolding coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and following the recommendations being released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). With the recent announcement by Indiana University that face-to-face teaching will be suspended until at least April 6, it has become clear to us that we need to CANCEL ALL EVENTS that have been scheduled for Lotus Blossoms 2020.
While this fills us with great sadness, we know that one of the most effective ways to contain the spread of the virus is to limit large gatherings and close contacts. We acknowledge the disappointment that our Lotus audiences will feel, in the absence of the many wonderful activities we had planned for our 25th Anniversary of Lotus Blossoms.
Our hope is that this anniversary can be properly celebrated in 2021. In the meantime, we are grateful for your contributions already made to Blossoms, and we are hopeful that others will consider a donation to help us offset the many costs that have already been incurred for the program. Your gift now sustains us through these difficult times. Thank you – we are all in this together.
