Lotus & First Friday Gallery Walk are partnering to enrich the festival experience with visual arts throughout downtown Bloomington. Connect with music and art from across the globe, explore and feel the vibe of festival street art, and witness how the Bloomington community comes together to celebrate the arts.

Bloomington Fine Art Supply Local Artist Spotlight by #6

Featuring the second installment by Bloomington artist, #6. This new exhibition brings familiar yet oft-overlooked Bloomington landmarks into focus with renewed clarity. Each piece is printed on Strathmore watercolor paper, lending a soft, distinct touch to the vibrant and stark imagery.

This lovely exhibit features oil and pastel paintings by Pamela Newell & Donna Shortt with a special musical performance by ZABA on October 4th, from 6-7:30pm. ZABA is a local duo with Svelta Vladeva on bayan accordion, and Tomás Lozano on hurdy gurdy.

Bloomington Quilters Guild

Bloomington’s triennial quilt show will feature over 200 gorgeous quilts, including a Lotus Festival T-shirt quilt, vendors, a treasure shop, and raffle. Admission is $10, under 12 free. Friday, October 4th (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) to Saturday, October 5th (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
